Sunset Falls Studios
Who We Are
We are a small team of designers, engineers, and makers who believe that thoughtful, independent work still matters. Not everything needs to be a startup, a platform, or a growth story. Some things just need to be made well.
We study the book of creation as it is: beauty lives in ordinary things— a garden's first sprout, a well-worn game board, the weight of a tool, the hush between seasons. We craft for those quiet moments because they are where wonder quietly endures.
Sunset Falls Studios was founded to create space for that kind of work. We build software, design games, and pursue creative projects that we believe in, at the pace we believe they deserve.
The name holds our whole philosophy: a sunset is fleeting, yet we pause to watch it. A waterfall is never still, yet remains itself through every change. Neither is diminished by impermanence. Everything in this life is touched by it.
Like them, our work is made faithfully for the season we've been given. Christ, our Creator, has entrusted us with gifts and talents to steward well. We want to use those gifts to make things that are honest, beautiful, and worth giving our attention to. The work may be temporary, but the care we put into it is not.
The most beautiful things often happen in the in-between spaces: dusk at day's end, the hush between seasons, the sound of water over stone.
“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:11, KJV
What We Do
Software
Practical, well-crafted applications that respect your time, privacy, and attention. We build offline-first tools that work the way you do.
Games
Board games and interactive experiences with depth, atmosphere, and replay value. We favor strategy, narrative, and quiet elegance over spectacle.
Music & Other Work
Creative expression in all its forms. We are not limited by medium or category — if it feels like Sunset Falls, it belongs here.
Our Values
Independence
We answer to ourselves, our craft, and the people who enjoy our work.
Quality
We ship when it is ready, not when the calendar demands it.
Stewardship
We treat our gifts, time, and materials as entrusted to us. This means working slowly, deliberately, and with long-term care.
Privacy
Your data belongs to you. We build accordingly.
Community
We build in the open, listen closely, and treat every user as a collaborator.
